I want to write. I know I won't wind up being famous, but I just want to publish the story I have in my head. So I'm working quite hard on it, to make it original, doing research to help me. Maybe one day it will be on the shelves and I can be proud of that when I see someone walk past saying 'Oh, I did a book report on that back in grade school, it was pretty okay.'

I have no faith left in humanity, to be honest with you. Yes, I know humans have some good features left and I shouldn't judge us all on the immoral actions of a relative few, but it's just so hard. Many humans are sinful things who can't be bothered to see past their own noses. We wage war on one another for often little reason other than the other side isn't like us, they're DIFFERENT. Religion is much worse than that. 'Oh, that person isn't the same religion as me. He'll go to hell (or whatever the equivalent is) if I don't make him believe as I do!' People learn one small, evil detail about a religion and it applies to the entire group. In my opinion, Armageddon canNOT come fast enough. As individuals, we can be helped, but as a whole, we are beyond salvation.

I feel strongly about this, and this is what I will put in my story, though maybe not as obvious. There is a high being called a god, and its four lesser guardians, also referred to as gods by humans who did not understand fully what they were, that in truth they are the same as the 'evil demons' who once tried to destroy the world.

I'm working on the 'Water God' now! I like him, he's my favorite so far! So I'm having to look up all the ocean deities in Greek Myths to use. Wish me luck!
